First Day of First Grade

The first couple of days of first grade have been fantastic.  Our back-to-school events started with meeting Mrs. Jennifer Smith on Wednesday afternoon.  After three years, Jackson and his friend Trip found out they are finally in the same class.  On Wednesday, Trip invited Jackson to go swimming.  Jackson's class has many new students, and we are enjoying meeting them while celebrating a couple of back-to-school birthdays.  Today, we met at the park after school to celebrate Cullen's seventh birthday.  We were surprised to learn that Cullen and another friend live nearby.  Jackson is looking forward to some fun playdates soon.
