"Annual" Trip

A few months ago, Nana suggested the cousins get together to see The Lion King at The State Fair so on Thursday, Nana and I picked up Jackson from school and headed to Dallas for our "annual" trip to the State Fair of Texas.  (We missed the last two years so you can hardly say annual.)




We met up with Emme and Tate so that Jackson could see The Lion King with his first cousins.  We didn't get to see the new Big Tex, but Jackson loved watching The Lion King with his sweet cousins.  And he got to see the ending!  Jackson has now seen the musical with four of his cousins!

Tate is almost exactly the same age as Jackson was when we saw Lion King on Broadway, and we've often commented on how much Tate and Jackson resemble.  I found it interesting when Tate was DONE at exactly the same spot Jackson dozed off when we saw the musical in New York.
